SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA might be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it really is alarmed with regard to the superior range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial SRD range of clients/beneficiaries to sassa status access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The provider position established for intervention experiences a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it tough for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to enable the servicing of all customers and enhance use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
